iAd Mobile Advertising Demo by Steve Jobs

I watched this video and was blown away at how cool the iAd platform could really be for advertisers within apps.

I was especially taken by the sample Air Jordan ad.

This video is of Apple CEO Steve Jobs taking reporters through the new platform.

Beso - Great restaurant in LA / Vegas, and now a reality show

According to a press release, VH1 is developing a reality series around Eva Longoria-Parker's restaurant Beso.

As I have been to the LA location twice and also the one in Vegas, I can attest to the fact that it is really good creative Mexican food. Now, I know the snobbery around Mexican food is high for those in Southern Cali, but as someone who is not from the area, I give it high ratings.

You might be surprised to find that the food at the bar (in LA) is even better than at the dining room tables!

Press Release:
VH1 is working on a new reality series about the staff of the restaurant Beso, owned by actress Eva Longoria-Parker (ABC's Desperate Housewives). Longoria-Parker's Beso has two locations, one in Hollywood and the other in Las Vegas and at this time it is not determined which location will be featured. Longoria-Parker will not star in the reality show.

South Korea goes through! US next?

It was an unbelieavable match with both Nigeria and South Korea missing on some amazing chances.

In the end, South Korea advances to the Round of 16, as Argentina stepped up and soundly defeated Greece. Park Chu Young for Korea finally got on the score sheet from a free kick that he bent around the wall of Nigeria.

As for tomorrow's match, I predict US and England to advance.

Jeff Zucker to get paid to leave NBC / Comcast

I am always in shock when people who are forced out get paid a ton of money.

Can I please somehow get that gig?

After leading NBC down to 4th place and completely fumbling the Conan O'Brien transition, Jeff Zucker is going to get a major payout to leave Comcast/NBC.

Press Release
"NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker is working on a deal to leave the network a few months after Comcast takes a controlling share of the company, according to the NYPost. The size of his golden parachute will be in the range of $30 to $40 million according the paper, citing "sources." NBCU extended Mr. Zucker's contract earlier this year through 2013."
