No Golden Globe Awards this year. What's next? hate to say it, but the Oscars are in serious risk. And that means bad bad news for not just networks but also all the other businesses that suffer. Supposedly Los Angeles will lose about $100 million just from the loss of that one event. Not to mention the enormous losses in the fashion industry and advertising dollars.Did anyone see Queen Latifah host the People's Choice Awards? No? Good. b/c it was really boring. She was just surrounded by awards that she gave out and videod acceptance speeches were played. LAME.
