What a great concept! Monsters attack Manhattan, people who are happening to film a going away party for their friend end up filming the whole sequence. The problem they forgot is that they are just normal people filming, which means that they are horrible when it comes to camera stability. Yes, yes, I know there must be some effect of amateurs filming, but really, I couldn't take much more of watching the film before I had to look away. All-in-all, a decent movie, but really tough to watch this on a screen. I recommend rental, or watching it on your mobile device.Also, many scenes were supposedly filmed in LA. But of course...This scene after our heroes get off the Brooklyn Bridge takes place in front of a Sephora in Manhattan, but in fact, it is a fake store street set in Los Angeles.

yup...the shaky camera work made me a little dizzy, but my poor friend barfed his popcorn back into the jumbo bucket, so we had to leave the movie before it finished!
