Can 3D technology battle movie piracy? One would think so since you must go to the cinema to view it in 3D. Yet if people just want to watch something for free they will.
NYTimes reports that Avatar has become the fastest-pirated movie, according to TorrentFreak.com, with illegal downloads of 500,000 in first TWO days of it's release and almost a million in jut the first week. Yet director James Cameron seems confident in the 3D draw stating, "You can pirate a 3D movie, but you can't pirate it in 3D."
