Gilbert Arenas real time Twitter on a blind date

Now we all know Gilbert Arenas is straight out of looney-town for bringing firearms into his locker room to threaten a teammate...but this his latest antics are hilarious.

He was setup on a blind date and took to Twitter to tweet his frustrations about the evenings happenings.

Here is a link to those Tweets...i'm just glad he didn't leave a gun on her seat while she was in the bathroom to give her a hint.

Michael Jordan - How Quickly They Forget

Recently Scottie Pippen was quoted as saying he thought Michael Jordan is the greatest scorer but LeBron James has the potential to be the greatest player.

I think he has totally forgotten how great Michael Jordan was as a complete player - on the offensive AND defensive end.

The other point I'd like to make is that watching Michael Jordan play was watching an artist, whereas watching LeBron James play is like watching a bull in a china shop. No style!

Just in case YOU forgot - check out this YouTube video montage.

Kassim Osgood

I read these player's notes on Kassim Osgood, WR in the NFL. It is nuts:

WR Kassim Osgood jumped from a second-story window to escape an armed man who attacked him and struck him in the head with a pistol, while also striking the 19-year-old woman Osgood was reportedly visiting on Monday, according to the Florida Times-Union. The intruder left Osgood with minor bumps and bruises, according to the report. Coach Jack Del Rio said "He's fine. I'm aware of it. I really can't comment on that whole deal. He's doing OK."
(Yahoo! Sports)

So should I play him or not?

Gabourey Sidibe on the cover of Elle Magazine as a Whiter person

People applauded Elle Magazine about placing Gabourey Sidibe on the cover of their magazine. She is neither svelte nor white, which has been the tradition of most fashion magazine cover women.

However, once released, it seems the photoartists at Elle decided to, uh, lighten Gabourey up!

I'm all for photo treatments, everyone knows this happens all the time on Oprah's magazine (where she graces EVERY cover).

But how far are you willing to go to sell magazines?

Elle Magazine's response, ""Nothing out of the ordinary was done. We have four separate covers this month and Gabby's cover was not retouched any more or less than the others. We had 25 cover-worthy subjects in our portfolio and we chose Gabby because of who she is. We shot this as a story of exuberant young women changing the world. If you take a look at the portfolio, each of the women were shot in different ways and for different reasons."

Uhh yea

Kanye West - Good Morning

While Kanye West continues to pump out hits, one largely overlooked track was Good Morning. The video is such a trip - conceived from the mind of Takahashi Murakami. Check it out:

Toshiba making non-glasses required 3D TV

One thing I don't really like about watching things in 3D are wearing glasses. It is rather uncomfortable, and very impractical if you invite a bunch of people over to watch something in 3D.

Thank goodness Toshiba is developing a non-glasses required 3D TV! Might actually have to check this out.

From AP:
TOKYO (AP) -- Japanese electronics maker Toshiba Corp. said Tuesday it is developing technology for a 3-D television that won't require special glasses.

Company spokeswoman Yuko Sugahara confirmed such technology was in the works. But she declined to comment on a report in the Yomiuri newspaper that the Tokyo-based company plans to start selling the new TVs by the end of the year.

Mainstream 3-D TVs now on sale, such as those from rivals Panasonic Corp. and Sony Corp., require glasses. But there are already screens that don't require glasses, mainly intended for store displays. They require the viewer to stand in specific spots for the 3-D effect to emerge, and the image quality is much lower than that of screens using glasses.

Yomiuri said Mitsubishi's technology involves transmitting different images at various angles to create an illusion of dimension and depth, a principle used by current glasses-free monitors.

Electronics companies have been investing heavily in 3-D technology for televisions, betting that people will want a 3-D experience at home following the success of blockbuster movies such as "Avatar," which was screened in 3-D.

Some gadgets such as handheld game machines from Nintendo Co. can deliver 3-D images without special glasses.

"Many people don't like to wear glasses to watch TV for a long time, especially people who must wear 3-D glasses over regular glasses," Sugahara said.

Roger Federer's Trick Shot

Roger Federer, the former #1 player in the world, is one of the smoothest guys on and off the court.

For his latest stunt, he shows off his accuracy on his serve, much to the chagrin of a poor stage hand on a commercial shoot.

There are rumors it is fake, but I believe it.

Following his opening match at the Cincinnati Masters on Wednesday, he was asked directly whether the video is real.

Federer responded, "A magician doesn't tell how his tricks work."

Kind of reminds me of Ronaldinho's Crossbar Trick video from Nike

Rico Suave live on Arsenio Hall

People keep mentioning Rico Suave to me at work so I thought I'd let you reminisce about this classic one-hit wonder by Gerardo!

I love the guys in the sombreros in the background, and I definitely remember these Bobby Brown-type moves!

The LXD on Hulu

Have you heard of the Hulu show: The LXD aka the League of Extraordinary Dancers?

It has a very "Heroes" feel to it, except it is like watching super heroes who are the JabBaWocKeez.

Very cheesy but enjoyable to watch.
